Growing up in a large veterinary family, there was never a dull moment. We always had interesting animals at home. Aside from the usual dogs and cats, we also had a tortoise, a lamb, a Chinese Water Dragon (yes it’s a real animal), and an Umbrella Cockatoo.  My father studied Veterinary Medicine in South Africa, and has practiced for over 30 years. I worked as a Veterinary technician for over 15 years, and worked as a professional dog trainer for the last 5 years.

With a Bachelor in Science from Towson University together with my experience and knowledge in Animal behavior, I developed and ran successful dog training programs for clients. This included one on one consultation, as well as group training.

I pride myself in that I not only train your dog, but I teach you to positively communicate with your dog. I have found this to be most successful as your dog needs to know that you are its master, and not the trainer. These exercises and techniques that you learn allow you to continue training your pet through a multitude of commands. Most importantly it fortifies the special bond between you and your pet.
